Greetings from the Board of Directors of Global Shore Opportunities,

In light of the recent changes in Canadian directorship, the GSO board has been meeting regularly, praying and asking for the Lord’s guidance for direction. God has been speaking to us about the importance of this time of transition and we have decided to make a key change, hiring one Executive Director for all of Global Shore, who will oversee and direct all areas of operation in Canada, the USA and Guatemala.

As a ministry that has three branches working in multiple cultures, the importance of cohesion in vision has become crucial as we all look to play our part in transforming Guatemala through Christ-centred education. Our priority is to have an impact on the hearts and lives of students in Guatemala, and we believe that having a central leader who carries that vision will allow us to work in greater unity.

The board of directors has approached Julianna Konrad de Pelaez, who has accepted this position. Julianna has been a part of Global Shore since the beginning. She was a natural choice for this new directorial role as she is the main steward of Global Shore’s vision and has served as Executive Director of Global Shore in Guatemala for many years.
