The Guate Education Riders are again entering a team to raise funds for the work of Global Shore Opportunities (GSO). Our goal with GSO is to make it possible for a bunch of students from K-12 to attend school in a small town called El Tizate in Guatemala. Verena and I have spent most of 2017 at that school teaching English so we have a very personal connection to this work. It’s a pleasure to continue to support a great bunch of dedicated educators in that school with our fund raising efforts! We are a team of 8 this year, organizing a 25km bike ride on Saturday, September 26th and hoping to exceed our financial goal.
