All the items in our artisan auction have been donated in order to further Global Shore’s mission of transforming Guatemala through Christ-centred education. By bidding on (and winning!) items in the auction you become part of that mission with us!
Here’s how it works:
Take a look at the items up for auction below. Select the item(s) you’re interested in so you can view details and earmark what you’re most interested in!
Comment on the item page in order to place bids. (You need to provide your name and email address in order to place a bid.) Refresh the page to see the latest bids (so you can outbid the competition).
When bidding ends on October 21st at 7:00 PM EDT, comments will be closed and the winner and winning bid will be listed on each page within 15 minutes. Winners can then make a donation for the bid amount through the giving form and we will work with you to coordinate pick-up, delivery or shipment!

Upon winning an item, you will be contacted directly about how you’d like to receive your item.
We do kindly ask that you consider taking the time to pick-up your item in Port Burwell, ON. The time/days will be coordinated with you after the auction.

Local Pick-Up: All items will be available for pick-up in Port Burwell, ON.
Possible Delivery Options: Items may be eligible for delivery and will be delivered within 4 weeks of payment received. This possibility depends on if you’re within the cities listed, and sizes of the items. Some items may need to be picked up by you, the bidder, due to vehicle capacity.
Some items may be eligible for shipping to Canada and the USA, and will be labelled as “eligible” or “not eligible”. Shipping costs will be an additional cost to the bidder above and beyond the price bid for the auction item, and will be determined and billed to the bidder once the item is shipped.
If you’d like to estimate how much your item will cost to ship:
This will provide you with an estimate but the exact shipping cost can only be determined when the item is shipped. At that time, we will send proof of shipment and request payment for the shipping cost.

You need to provide your name and email address in order to place a bid. Keep refreshing and visiting that page during the auction time frame to keep your bids up!
Opening bid must be at least the starting bid posted. Increases can be done by any dollar increments.
Because auction payments are being made in exchange for goods, we are unfortunately unable to offer tax receipts for auction payments.
